On November 23rd, we confirmed that, as well as being a great team, we possess the ability to conjure up magic \u2013 and not in the figurative sense. At our 2023 closing event at Casa de les Punxes, Tom\u00e1s Kancyper, a home automation expert and talented magician, left us spellbound with card tricks and acts of spectacular mystery. It was an evening we will remember fondly, as we do the other events we have shared in Lodging\u2019s a warm and close-knit atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The terrace reception provided a welcome escape above the noise of the city and the opportunity to examine close-up the modernist architecture of Casa de les Punxes. We thoroughly enjoyed our leisurely glass of cava, relaxed conversation, and the delight of reconnecting with the people with whom we\u2019ve so frequently exchanged messages and calls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the exclusive meeting venue, we had the opportunity to explore the products of five companies with whom Lodging Management has forged collaborative agreements that elevate our services for property owners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guillem Brugu\u00e9, from Kave Home, talked about this Catalan furniture company that has gained strength in recent years thanks to its exclusive designs and innovations in sustainability and technology. Currently, they have more than 7000 products on the market and provide personalized solutions for customers. We collaborate with them for the restyling of apartments rented on a daily or monthly basis, as well as for crafting the interior design for newly renovated homes. Thanks to their ideas, we achieve spaces that guests appreciate; their minimalist style never cancels out the hominess that all guests seek.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vanessa de Souza, from Sustonica, stressed the importance of sustainability as a factor for tourists and digital nomads when choosing a place to stay. In fact, 59% of travellers would filter accommodation options using a “sustainable” category, and 65% expect to see a sustainability certificate at their accommodations. Her company is the first to issue environmental certifications for holiday rentals and focuses specifically on homes rather than businesses. For Lodging Management, this presents an important opportunity to highlight environmental care as one of its quality standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CONTROL A<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Tom\u00e1s Kancyper, from Control A, not only dazzled us with his magic performance, as mentioned earlier, but also introduced us to an exciting sector: home automation. The ability to remotely control access to a residence, achieve energy savings by turning off unused appliances, prevent damage to appliances, or detect water or smoke leaks, among other benefits, does not require complex technology for installation. Automation is becoming increasingly accessible, and at Lodging Management, we aim to incorporate it into our short-term and long-term monthly apartment rentals in Barcelona to simplify the daily lives of guests and alleviate concerns for property owners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
